From January 1997 to November 2012 I happily played in the sometimes chaotic usenet towns alt.sex.spanking then soc.sexuality.spanking, referred to as ASSville and SSSville respectively. It was a space of discussion, wordplay, and stories, both fiction and real-life accounts1Also scorched earth sorts of flamewars, but let’s remember the more rose-tinted times. .
Like so many on the newgroups I wrote plenty of real-life accounts and fiction. We also collaborated, stories were written in response to other stories, gifts to and from friends. The newsgroup gave me a lot — it was the first time I was able to “talk” with others who shared the “Topic of Greatest Interest,” and to date, the best place for those conversations. To a large extent, my stories were love stories and fantasies. Mostly to and for Paul, but, partly, a way to give a little back to the ASS/SSS communities.
In all my internet wanderings since, I’ve searched for another community that felt like Assville, or at least like Assville at its best. I haven’t found it. Yet. But I’m ever hopeful.
Note: I in no way advocate or support the spanking of any actual children. Only fictional ones. To the extent anyone real is getting spanked, think of them only as aspects of me.
